CSX at Point of Rocks
Historic Point of Rocks, Maryland, 65 miles west of Baltimore and 43 miles northwest of Washington, D. C. by rail, is one of the most historic rail junctions in this country. Here, the Baltimore and Ohio's original main line from Baltimore, joins up with the B&O line from Washington. This CSX line from Baltimore is now appropriately named the Old Main Line Subdivision. The Old Main Line sub meets the Metropolitan Sub from Washington in front of the equally historic Point of Rocks station. This program shows over twenty fours hours of CSX, Amtrak, and Maryland Rail Commuter or Marc train action at and around Point of Rocks in April of 2005. 130 minutes.
