The east-west Union Pacific Dallas Sub from St. Louis to El Paso crosses BNSF's Kansas City to Houston line and UP's former Katy and MOP Kansas City to Houston and San Antonio line at grade. Also former BN and OKT mains, now operated by BNSF and UP, end at Tower 55 which sees 100 train movements in 24 hours on peak days. Guilford's Revitalized West End
This video shows the trains running in April of 2001 on the historic West End of the former Boston and Maine, now operated by Guilford Rail System's Springfield Terminal. This video will first show 24 hours of action on the reborn scenic line through the Berkshires in western Massachusetts. Next will be a tour of the West End between the railfan bridge at East Deerfield and Mohawk Yard near Schenectady, NY, including the historic Hoosac Tunnel. The West End has seen a remarkable revival since the breakup of Conrail. Three times as many trains traverse the West End today as compared to two years ago. 90 minutes.

On June first of 1999 CSX began operating their share of Conrail including Conrail's Boston Line through the beautiful Berkshire Hills in western Massachusetts - where one would least expect to see CSX trains.
