During that time, the KCS's Meridian to Dallas Line has become part of a major transcontinental corridor, and KCS has acquired a share of the largest Mexican Railroad and access to Mexico via Laredo. This video shows the trains and operations for 24 hours on KCS's north-south main on the south end of the Heavener Subdivision midway between Kansas City and Shreveport and for 24 hours on their east-west transcontinental line midway between Shreveport and Dallas in May of 2003. 69 minutes.
